How do I sign up for a free class?
Schedule your free class by clicking the 'FREE CLASS' button on this page! After signing up for your free trial class you can reserve a class from our schedule. Show up a few minutes early to check in and introduce yourself. That's it!
How long does it take to see results in BJJ?
Results in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu take time and dedication, but with consistent training, you'll notice improvements. Beginners often see progress within the first month, including enhanced strength, technique, and overall fitness as you adapt to the demands of the mat.
Do I get the chance to meet new friends through BJJ?
Absolutely! Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fosters a strong sense of community. In our small group classes, you'll have plenty of opportunities to meet and train with fellow practitioners. You'll not only build friendships but also create a supportive network as you learn and grow together on the mats.

How often do you recommend training in BJJ classes?
As you build your skills and conditioning, you can increase the number of classes per week you attend if you like. Your life and your other priorities will dictate how much you are able to train, we encourage you to find a routine that you can make consistent. Remember, BJJ is both... What should I wear for BJJ Training?
Our students usually wear a gi (kimono, or uniform) for gi classes or rash guards and shorts for nogi classes. For your first class, tighter fitting shorts and a t-shirt (moisture wicking if possible) is acceptable. We will accommodate you with a loaner uniform if the class requires a gi.
Do you provide free refreshments there?
We have a water cooler available. Please bring your own refillable water bottle as cups are not provided.
Do I have to be physically fit to start BJJ?
No! You don’t need to be fit to start Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Our program is designed for all fitness levels, and every class will help you improve your fitness, technique, and confidence on the mats. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, our training is universally scalable, ensuring that anyone dedicated to learning can succeed and progress.
What payment methods do you accept?
We take all major credit cards and debit cards. We do not accept personal checks.
What types of drills and techniques can I expect during a BJJ training session?
Although each coach has their own nuances to their classes, a typical session will follow this general format: 10-15 minutes of warmups, consisting of general body movements that will be utilized in your jiu jitsu training. 30-45 minutes of instruction, where the coach will demonstrate technique and then allow you time to practice the move with your partner under little to no resistance. 30-60 minutes of live resistance training, which is optional. Some students choose to continue drilling their technique during this time.
Can BJJ help with weight loss and overall fitness?
Yes, BJJ is a full-body workout that can aid in weight loss, improve cardiovascular health, and enhance overall fitness. Training sessions involve intense physical activity, including cardio, strength training, and flexibility exercises.
